I have always been interested in the digital world - not knowing what exactly I wanted to do after school, I decided to study for an interdisciplinary B.A. in Digital Media, exploring all kinds of areas: UX resarch and design, video production and project management. After my degree, I decided to pursue my passion for sustainability and worked in a zero waste bulk food store for two years. It was a great experience to see a small business like this grow every day, learn more about minimal and sustainable packaging and supply chains, talk to like-minded customers, train several new employees and manage the daily operational running of a small store. During these two years, I started my side hustle of creating sketchnotes and other types of digital content.
As a visual thinker, little scribbles and visual notes have always helped me to remember things I wanted to learn. I started sketchnoting in 2019 and have created visual summaries for topics like mental health, gut health, personal finance and career development since then. I have collaborated with international clients and helped them break down complex topics into fun, easy to understand, hand-drawn infographics which have been featured in social media, online courses and books.
This little side hustle helped me realize that I wanted to pursue digital marketing as a career: a profession where I both get to use my strategic thinking and creative skills while keeping up to date with trends and developments in the digital world. Currently finishing my M.A. in Corporate Communications, I have gained experience as an intern, working student and freelancer in social media management, employer branding, content creation and innovation management.
My most recent passion project has been developing my personal brand on LinkedIn - sharing my learnings about career developement has resonated with so many people on the platform and helped me build a small following. For my upcoming master's thesis, I plan to dive deeper into the topics of corporate influencers and digital personal branding.

I am passionate about discovering other countries and getting to know people from all over the world. So far, I have lived in New Zealand 🇳🇿, Scotland 🏴 and hopefully many more countries to come!

I have been a vegetarian for more than 10 years and care deeply about the wellbeing of animals 🐷
My favorite animals in the world are panda bears 🐼

Since 2020, I have been tending a little urban garden in a public space, growing vegetables, fruits and flowers 🐝🥬🌻
I am interested in urban gardening and permaculture and try to work towards a greener world 🌱

Contrary to what most people think, I was actually NOT good at drawing - I have thought myself how to create sketchnotes, practiced a lot and still have a long way to go 📝 For my next creative projects I want to learn more about typography and handlettering ✍🏻
